✔Battery or mains powered：This is very suitable for kids rooms, quick and easy to operate, can be powered by 4 x AAA batteries (not supplied) or via a USB power supply, the 1.5m lead is supplied which will plug into most phone chargers or wall adapters with built in USB power ports. It’s a light weight unit, made from plastic of course, the base has four rubber feet to offer stability.
✔Simple to operate：To operate this light, just press the on/off button, which will then light up the timer display, press button D for the desired timer in minutes, this can go up to 995 minutes with increments of 5. Once you have selected the timer, pressing button B will activate the colours, continued pressing will take you through the range of available colours with a flashing mode at the end. If you just want the white light then press button A. To move the star projection press button C.
✔Great for use as a night light：If you want to use this as a night light, take off the white dome, remove the inner star projection dome and just replace the white dome. This will now act as a night light, you don’t have to have white, choose other colours, it isn’t too bright neither. If the night light mode is used with the star projection dome left in, the output light is lower but does look nice, with the white dome on, the stars aren’t projected onto the ceiling.
✔Good projection onto ceiling & walls：Using the projector function is really cool, just take off the white dome and the stars are projected on to the ceiling and walls. The closer the projector to the wall or ceiling, the clearer and brighter the projected stars are, and the moon!
✔Overall this is a good quality light.just to point out, the unit won’t operate until you have selected the timer function first! Also, there is no noise from this light when the rotation is on, it’s extremely quiet. A lanyard is supplied which attaches to the top of the projector, useful if this is used in battery mode, making it easy to carry around.
